Meet CORE

Long time no see(not really).

I'm now posting from my new desktop PC! It's fast. And fast. I didn't have a lot of time to take photos. I'll upload a picture of the tower later!

nice install eugene, i like how you got the wires zip tied, thats really clean.

Also thats one of the first cases i've seen where the psu is on the bottom... how interesting... It might be more susceptable to over heating if its on cloth or insulating materials. So i'd make sure its on something like hardwood or glass / metal. I also notice your case fan's molex connections not in, perhaps you wanna keep that on, and also that switch that regulates the RPMs should be sticked outside of the case through a port hole or a gap so that later on if its too loud or if your comps running too hot you an adjust it. The case does seem kinda gimpy over all for an antec, i havn't seen a tower design with those roll formed cheapo edges in a while. It didn't even include vibration isolators for the harddrive i guess... But you really pulled out on where it counted with the OCZ psu @ 700W. thats gonna last you a whileeeee

anyway! congrats!! hope you wired your restart/power on/speaker/HDD led/ caseLEDs in order~ ha ha ha i always have trouble with that one!

side note, with the design of the psu on bottom with fan on top and back its going to create some turbulance with the cpu fan. Those are freaking big fans btw. I'd check that tower at LEAST once every six month for dust clogs because that things going to have rediculous positive pressure. Unless i'm mistaken and the top fan blows outwards, in which case every crevice in your case will be sucking in dust :P

p.s. don't forget to de_dust your GPU as well when you do clean your comp!

thanks! yeah there's actually a good gap in between psu and case. i periodically check the bottom(or any part for that matter) of the case to check for heat, but it's always cool to the touch.
you can't see it in the picture but there are two induction fans eye-level with it. this is actually a 4-fan case, and they are pretty dang big. didn't think there was a need to pull the rpm switch out, it seems to run very cool. there's actually a slight draft near my feet when the pc is on, and it makes my entire room cooler. seriously, i'm not exaggerating. it's very quiet to boot.

lol like how i arranged my hard drives? my gpu was so long that the second hd would be too tight of a fit right under the first one. haha....

i love my computer!!!
