So much for regularity. Here are a few essential life updates:
ONE - Extra Long Urinal
The picture doesn't do it justice, but these urinals are super long. They're long enough to bathe in. Or to lay some major D-Dong in. I was amazed.
TWO - Very Cute Baby
Hahaha! This baby is very cute! Her name is Alice. She is our hall maknae. Stop eating your hand, baby! Oh, she loves me. She only stops crying when I hold her. Yummy hand!!
THREE - I Want This License Plate
Because honestly, it was always all about MY poo, not yours.

Who Are You? 12:57 AM
I checked my Google Analytics recently, and noticed a strange anomaly amongst the 23-something absolute unique visitors I get daily to this blog(yeah that's right I know you're all peeking-but-not-commenting). According to the map overlay report, I have returning readers not only from the US and Korea, but from Islamabad, Pakistan. Well, 'reader' singular form to be nit-picky.
Interesting, eh? Now reveal yourself!!

Song of the Week 1:12 PM
윤하 (Younha) - Say Something
I love rock ballads. I feel like they're the perfect mix of bittersweet; strength and sorrow in one breath. The song above is the newest addition to my favorite rock ballads. Some others include:
임재범 - 비상
윤도현 - 사랑2
김동률 - 거위의 꿈
버즈 - 사랑은 가슴이 시킨다 Part 2
..and my all-time favorite
버즈 - 사랑은 가슴이 시킨다
(Sorry, some of these videos are of bad quality or live versions.)

Long time no see(not really).
I'm now posting from my new desktop PC! It's fast. And fast. I didn't have a lot of time to take photos. I'll upload a picture of the tower later!

Eugene's Song of the Week 3:34 PM
지선 - Roller Coaster Love
Nothing like good ol' Korean pop rock. The song's right up there with the likes of 윤하 and 아유! Like good fruit taffy.
Haven't been keeping up with the entries, but don't give up on me now! Today will most likely be my last post... UNTIL I BUILD MY NEW COMPUTER THIS WEEKEND!! Yeah, that's right. No more 5-year-old MacBook. We've had a good run, but it's time to move on. Next time I post it'll be with a brand-spankin'-new desktop.
Be excited, because I'm planning to post more interesting stuff. I'll be doing lots of photoshopping, video-editing, and the likes. So expect more media, more often!
Until then, signing off. See ya'll soon.
BY THE WAY: Does anyone know a good way to incorporate music into a post(not the whole blog itself) other than YouTube clips? Like a simple music player or something?

Not-So-Fun Run Bites My Face Off 5:05 PM
In preparation to become a warrior, I decided to do a little trail running a couple days a week...
...and today was the first. This is the exact round-trip route I took from my house:
It's exactly 5.9 miles(C is the starting point). I plotted the course on Google Maps, strapped on my running gear, picked up my MP3 player, and headed out. It seemed easy enough. Back in my cross-country days, we would do something similar for practice nearly five times a week.
Hah yeah. Those days are over.
I hate hate hate HATE-FREAKING-DIE this route. If you know anything about Palos Verdes, there are a lot of hills. And SOMEHOW(I don't even know how this is possible), this route mostly takes me uphill. I was panting, I was sweating, I was swearing(good-word swearing), and I was thirsty. It took me an hour and a half when it should have taken me fifty minutes.
AND if you've ever driven to my house you might know about the street Via Valmonte... which is a 0.9 mile 25 degree-ish uphill climb. I virtually crawled up that.
Anyway, I'm gonna keep at it, but I'm gonna shorten my route next time until I can do better.
5.9 mile run biting my face off FTW!

Warrior Dash 2:06 AM
If you are like me, you will do this.
Because this is awesome. It's a 3.08 mile obstacle-course race through tires, forests, trucks, mud, and more. Free beer served all day, and.... and what? I don't know. That's all I needed to hear.

Yes! You Can Has! 3:30 PM
This entry is a response to Andy's recent post.
(Didn't post this in his comments sections because I wanted to open with that hilarious cat picture haha... The article can be found here)
This subject is simple to me. To me, a mature person is one and the same as a spiritual person. We were created by Jehovah, and to reach the full extent of our "growth" we need to align ourselves with what he purposed us to be: His servants, made in his image. This is in accord with what we know about spirituality in that a spiritual person is one who looks at things from Jehovah's point of view; is a God-orientated thinker.
Experience is often a fickle factor in one's pressing on to maturity; more integral to doing so is training. Just as you pointed out, people can come to completely different conclusions from one experience. But continual training, namely spiritual training, will in itself help us to reach maturity and also help us to glean the right lessons from experience. We all know what such training entails, so I won't get into that.
I'm already getting lazy so I'm going to stop now. How in the world did you write all that, Andy?

Life Update #1 8:34 PM
Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.......
I have nothing in particular to write about, but I believe a new entry is due. This happens every once in a while, and I figure the life of blogs is in regularity. Therefore, I plan to do "Life Updates" as filler entries, so my readers at least have something to see during those long stretches of blog inactivity. So here is Life Update #1:
I accidentally erased everything on my iPhone. Suck!
It's okay, because I had everything backed up.
I almost died today while driving on PCH; a car diagonal to me hits a large puddle and sprays an inexplicably large amount of water on my windshield, effectively rendering me blind for about three whole seconds. My car slightly hydroplanes as a result of an instinctive depression of the brakes. I hold in my pee. Barely.
I read the wikiHow article "How to Overcome Laziness."
Didn't remember much from it.

I went ice-skating for the second time in like... ten years.
I went over my required Pioneering hours last month, a first in years.
I'm running low on shampoo.
I learned how to properly hold an infant baby. I'm like pro at it now that baby loves me.
I discovered redbox. I'm seriously contemplating canceling my Netflix account now, as I realize that I'll be saving money as I only rent about six DVD's a month. It has something to do with my outrageous laziness.
I'm also running low on hairspray.

Yes or No 7:37 PM
Don't give your money to Sears!
Seriously. I ordered a microwave about three months ago from these people, and today I have: No microwave, no refund. I kid you not. I've spent over eight long hours speaking to different customer service reps and supervisors, and so far my request is "still in processing." I've had to deal with countless transfers to and from their different departments, several hours being put on hold, perplexingly rude reps(what are they angry at me for?), and even being hung up on by them. Twice.
Which is probably why the fondest of memories come up when I watch this hilarious video:
Haha. This actually works, guys.

Self-Important Jerk, Misunderstoodenized! 3:03 AM
Are we all hopelessly misunderstood? Maybe, but we're not complaining.
For me, it goes like this: If I'm misunderstood, it's obviously attributed largely to the fact that I am the textbook definition of an introvert. However, I've come to think lately that it also has to do with the fact that I don't say what I really think. This is different from refraining to say what I think altogether for the fear of my ideas being rejected(an introvert tendency). It has a lot more do with the fact that I feel it's immodest, almost self-exalting, to tactlessly babble all the unbridled opinions people have. Result? I usually end up expressing more superficial thoughts; concepts that are generally uncontested and well-received. I think that my tendency to do this has imposed a "social cap" of sorts on people's perception of me, believing that those superficial thoughts are the extent of my... general capacity(?).
Like I said, I'm not complaining. Blame it on my inability to strike a balance: Plenty of people can say down-to-earth, heart-to-heart words that reflect what they truly feel without being the immodest, self-exalting jerk I mentioned earlier. But personally, I find it difficult. Even saying all of this is me going out on the proverbial limb. Just sitting here "expressing" all of this makes me realize how I should probably take a number and get in line with the millions of other people who feel the same way, and how being concerned with this subject at all is a blatant show of just how self-important I really am. Gosh, this proverbial limb is snapping. Time to jump off!
I'm sure there's a word for people who do this. Ideas?

Involvement, Relatable Content, Stupidly Outrageous Videos 1:32 AM
Time to be frank.
I have to check my blog at least daily to check for new comments, and counter-intuitive to the obvious notion that no one reads my blog the demographic of my readers is quite small, I get puzzled! "Why doesn't anyone leave comments on my wonderful posts?!"
Simple. After long hours of deliberation I came to realize that it wasn't the readers' fault; I just wasn't coming from the right angle. How would I get my friends to comment on my posts? I concluded that there are at least three factors to people-pleasing, comment-generating posts:
One - Involvement. Ever watch CommunityChannel's videos on YouTube? She always asks pointed and open-ended questions to let the viewers comment and be a part of the discussion.
Two - Relatable Content. If it's something you're not interested in, you suck and you won't leave a comment.
Three - A video or picture of something stupid, outrageous, or stupidly outrageous.
Yep. And that's why this post is all about the following video:
Now, is that not one of the most stupidly outrageous(point three), relatable(point two, who hasn't tried dropping Mentos in Coke? Which of you reading this post isn't Asian?) thing you've ever seen?
Now here comes the involvement(point one). I want all of you to watch that video again and answer the following questions in my comments section:
1. What in God's good, green Earth does "nooki" mean?
2. How many times does this woman say "nooki"?
Nooki away to the comments section folks. I'll do my best to comment on all y'all blogs too!
Did You Know?
Every time someone reads Eugene's blog posts, a beautiful unicorn is born. Every time someone reads Eugene's blog posts but leaves without leaving a comment, that beautiful unicorn kills three kittens and eats one puppy. Eugene then eats that unicorn.
